Dmitry Smirnov, winner of the 2nd price at the renowned ARD Music Competition, has already documented his exceptional artistic work on three albums, two of them as a soloist with the Basel Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Heinz Holliger.
As a much sought-after soloist and chamber musician, he has recently performed with leading figures such as Sol Gabetta, Ilya Gringolts and Philipp Herreweghe.
